Today, DDMM
is a cardiac super specialty center with ultra modern diagnostic

The Cardiac Catheterization
Laboratory - The Cath Lab has facilities for performing
angiographies, angioplasties,
stent implantations and emergency angioplasties (for
heart attacks). It is also equipped for electrophysiology
studies, where diagnostic and therapeutic studies can be
done for patients having heart rhythm problems. Valvuloplasties
and permanent pacemaker implants for both adults and children
and cardiac catheterizations for small children are also
routinely done here.

to be equipped with the state-of-the-art Cath
Lab with the AXIOM Artis dF with Flat Detector technology
from Siemens. This latest technology is most significant in
the optimum imaging, monitoring and diagnosis of all cardiovascular
ailments and their non-invasive treatment. Closure of defects,
pacemaker implantations, etc. is possible without surgery.
This unit also has an attached daycare lounge and a spacious
waiting area. The all digital cathlab may set new standards
of electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization due to its
highly advanced attributes. DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography)
procedure for a complete head to toe analysis of all the blood
